Bloodborne diseases are a serious concern in the U.S.  Hepatitis B inflects over 60,000 people annually and has over 1,000,000 "carriers" in the U.S.  The HIV virus, which usually leads to AIDS, currently infects over 1,000,000 people. Because of the increasing problems with these diseases, OSHA passed a "Bloodborne Pathogens" regulation, 29 CFR 1910.1030,  addressing these issues.

This training kit contains a 16 minute training video, complete Leader's Guide, Safety Manual, and Power Point Presentation on one disc. Complete Leader's Guide contains the following printable items: Program Outline, Copy of OSHA Standard(s), Quiz & Answer Key, Training Log, Employee Certificate, Wallet Cards,Site Specific Information and Hepatitis B Vaccine Declination form. Place disc into DVD player to play video and place the disc into your computer to access the printable materials as well as the Power Point Presentation.
