A Reproduction of signed players National Baseball Hall of Fame
Written on the ball:
On January 29, 1936, the first election for induction into the Hall of Fame was held. As this was the first ever election, all of the greats who had played the game were eligible. A 75% vote was needed for induction and only five players were voted in. Even 60 years later, this is widely considered one of the greatest group of athletes ever to enter the Hall of Fame. On another side written: 1936 First Hall of Fame Election
In Baseball's first Hall of Fame class, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Honus Wagner, and Babe Ruth were inducted as five of the finest players of the era controlling the election ballots in 1936. The baseball is in excellent condition. Thanks for looking.
