This is a Capodimonte Large Covered Box. It is in great condition. It is 8" long, 6" wide, and 5" tall. It is marked with the trademark N with a crown over it, and this particular mark was used during the mid 19th century. This gorgeous box is very detailed. The corners are busts, and this piece has four legs it stands on at each corner. Each scene on this box is indescribably beautiful, using beautiful colors that pop out and compliment each other. Some scenes have little cherubs on them, and other scenes have women with men. They depict Roman mythology themed scenes.
