Rawlings has been the sole manufacturer of MLB baseballs since 1977, when the MLB ended longstanding contracts with Reach/Spalding which dated to the 19th century. This ball is from the second season of Rawlings production (1978), noted by the 3 dot alignment under "Haiti."
This unplayed baseball is in excellent and bright condition, with all lettering and official marks clearly defined on the leather - see photos.
