    Description

    This is an awesome attic mint CLEAR Hayward's Hand Fire Grnade blown glass fire extinguisher bottle with 1871 patent date embossed!..(ebay wont allow me to use the correct spelling of Grnade).....This is an empty bottle with a hole drilled through the plaster plug in neck where the contents were drained out. The bottle has not been harmed or damaged in any way.  It is embossed

    in 3rd sunken diamond panel.....4th diamond is plain. A big number 4 on bottom.....Hand blown in 4 pc  mold....smooth lip with ring around neck.....clear.....unique round shape with sunken diamond panels and sunken V ribs....6 1/4"tall....Excellent attic mint condition with no chips or damage.....A sparkling clean bottle with no haze.  There is a hole drilled through the concrete neck plug where the contents were drained....THIS BOTTLE IS EMPTY . This bottle acted like a military weapon that begins with the letter G, which I am not allowed to say on ebay....it was to be thrown at the base of a fire. When the bottle broke it would release a cloud of gas which was supposed to extinguish the fire .
