Up for auction here is a Vintage
Browning Golden Eagle Mark 3 III Transceiver with SSB Receiver and the Browning Banana Microphone.  Item appears to be in very good cosmetic condition with very little signs of use.
We had a local ham radio person come out and test the unit, we did not have the right antenna to receive but it did transmit.
We did plug in this unit and all of it did power on as you can see in the photos and video.  It lights up nicely and appears to have been well cared for and is in great condition.
It was from a silent key e
state and was said to be working when placed in storage.   We have not tested this unit any further then plugging it in and powering it on as you can here in the video.  Please ask question before bidding and please view all the photos and our short youtube video at

We have not done any testing beyond what is specifically mentioned above.
There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially it comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service whether it is a cleaning or just a fine tuning. It may or may  need components replaced (caps, resistors, tubes, etc), controls cleaned/lubricated, alignment, and so on. Again, this unit is being sold 100% as-is. **

If an item arrives damaged please let us know as soon as possible so that we can place a claim with the shipping company. Do not send it back until the package has been inspected by the shipper company, otherwise the claim will automatically be denied by the shipping company no matter which company is used for shipping ( UPS, USPS FedEx etc.) They all require the original packaging material and box for them to inspect and has to be at the ship to location  (destination).
