    Description

    heavy blade is made with an abruptly thickened base, and is mounted on two springs, which are coverd by a kind of tang band.  Handle scales are a hornlike natural substance.  Bolsters are very visibly striated wrought iron.  Action is smooth and springs are strong.  Tip has been broken and resharpened at some time.  Clip has been sharpened in the past though it is now slightly dull.  Various dings, dents, scratches overall, as seen.  Good using condition as seen.
