Admiralty glass grenade

Admiralty glass fire grenade. This is blue in color. There is no embossing on this bottle but there are quite a few bubbles and imperfections that were typical for this early form of glassware. No cracks or chips. This has 18 vertical ribs.Admiralty fire grenades were reportedly manufactured in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s for the British navy when Hayward and Harden fire grenades were still gaining popularity and may have even been made by the Harden Company. Grenade originally filled with brine solution. This is empty. There are no chips or cracks. See photos for condition.
