1976 Gerber Sportsman Custom Signature Series- B Pierce #0220 Oregon Agate and #0295 Jade. Condition is near mint. 100% both Agate and Jade Inlays, Made by Beck Franklin Pierce Jr. between 1976-1979. BF Pierce as he was known until his passing and burial in Barnwell County OR in 2019.
The Sportsman was BF’s knife of choice and he always had a special place and just the right touch for every knife he customized and signed. The Sportsman Lock Blade made by Gerber is 9 3/8ths Inches Long Open and 5 1/4 inches closed. Encased in an original walnut box with the original ID tag fixed to the side.
These Gerber Custom Knife are rare and hard to find. Together they almost never see the public view. The original ID rage sets this knife apart from any other.
